The MEDDIET-GO project participated in the 2nd Community Meeting of the Sustainable Tourism Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, held in Tirana on 1st and 2nd October 2025.
The event, organised within the framework of the Thematic Community Project “Community4Tourism”, represented an important opportunity for exchange and collaboration among the various projects working towards a more sustainable and responsible tourism model in the Mediterranean area.
Following the first meeting held in Rome in April 2024, which officially launched the Mission and brought together the first 10 projects, the second Community Meeting welcomed 10 new Thematic Projects and 2 Strategic Territorial Projects, reaching a total of 22 projects under the Sustainable Tourism Mission.
During the two-day event, MEDDIET-GO partners shared experiences, explored synergies, and contributed to the governance activities promoted by Community4Tourism and Dialogue4Tourism, the two governance projects forming the backbone of the Sustainable Tourism Mission.
The participation of MEDDIET-GO in this important event marked another step forward in promoting the Mediterranean diet in line with the objectives of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
