What we achieve
MDG improves rural communities’ awareness and capacity building, through sharing the huge database and information gathered by the MD.net study and completed with further findings of the other synergic projects. Also, the Med Diet holistic dimension requires a multi-sectoral approach by local stakeholders to build effective and sustainable strategies: 7 one-stop-shops backed by 7 co-creative Living Labs connect traditional knowledge and innovation and lead to higher quality of tourism services,
The Med Diet can be a solid tourism business, but it relies on the capacity of the local actors to develop sound, sustainable, innovative initiatives. The creation of Living Labs, one-stop shops, and the Euro Cluster plays an important role in local institutions. The “Euro cluster” provides an adequate response, designing and implementing a permanent international connection, both at local and transnational levels to foster dialogue and cooperation with the National, European, UNESCO, FAO, UNWTO, and other international institutions.
